BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

THE FLASH

While speaking with Just Jared Jr., Keiynan Lonsdale spoke about his desire to put on a suit and become a speedster like the Flash.

"Yeeeeeees! I'd be crazy if I said otherwise! I'm sure that's where we'll go with it, we have to," said Lonsdale. "If it doesn't happen soon, I will casually make my own suit and casually wear it on set to make everyone speed up the process."

He also spoke about Wally's new sibling relationship with Iris. "I find it funny because it feels more like the sibling relationship you have with your brother or sister when you're both much younger, almost trying to get each other into trouble and constantly sizing each other up. I think they frustrate one another because they're both strong minded."

According to TV Line, "The Flash" is looking to add one more speedster to their cast. The site reports that "The Flash" will introduce Eliza Harmon in episode 16 of the show's second season, which will air after the show returns from its winter hiatus in January. The character is described as an "exceptionally bright scientist" with a "split personality a la Jekyll and Hyde."

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2

We've known for some time that "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" will focus on the identity of Star-Lord's (Chris Pratt) father, and now a report from The Wrap more than confirms that. Unnamed sources have informed the Wrap that "GOTG2" writer/director James Gunn wants Kurt Russell to join the cast in the important role. The article states that Marvel Studios has not yet offered the part to Russell and that the actor has not yet read the script; still, meetings are expected to take place soon between the two parties.

MARVEL

During a chat with fans on his Facebook page, "Arrow" star Stephen Amell answered a question about whether or not he would ever star in a Marvel movie.

"Sure, why not?" replied Amell, "I'm up for roles -- movie roles -- although I've never really read Marvel Comics and I was always a DC guy even before I was a DC guy. But, oh yeah, it's not like if I got offered an awesome Marvel superhero, I'd be like 'No, I can't.'"

SUPERGIRL

Now that we know that -- spoiler alert -- Hank Henshaw is actually Martian Manhunter, TV Line has a scoop about how DC's Mars mythology will play out on the show. According to the site, episode 11 of "Supergirl" will feature the White Martians.

"We have a visitor from another planet who's a White Martian," actor David Harewood revealed to the site. "There are two Martian species -- a Green Martian species and a White Martian species -- and the White Martians, in our story, are responsible for the death of the whole of the Green Martians."
