GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2

Meanwhile on the cosmic side of the MCU, director James Gunn emerged on the "Age of Ultron" red carpet to discuss the future of the Guardians franchise with Vulture.

"Listen, I'm still excited about Star-Lord's character and where he goes," Gunn said. "At its heart, Guardians is a story about families, and if the first film was about him and his mother, this is a story about fathers. So it's exciting to go there..."

Previously, the director noted that Starlord would have a different father than in the original comics.
