COMIC REEL: Spoilery Talk Surrounds "Age of Ultron" & "The Flash" Speeds Towards Spinoff

It's barely been in theaters for more than 24 hours, but "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is already creating discussion online based on what appears in the big budget sequel. We're staying spoiler free here, but if you have seen the film, you may want to check in with Joss Whedon's interview at something called Merlot Mommy where he goes into the whys and wherefores of one of the movie's biggest moments.

After early pics from the incoming episode showed a wedding in the offing for Oliver Queen, The CW has now released a full slate of photos from the installment titled "This Is Your Sword."

The shrinking superhero may be one of his oddest co-creations to land a film yet, but that doesn't mean Stan Lee won't be appearing in the upcoming Paul Rudd actioner. The legendary comics writer told Screen Rant of his cameos that "They're never going to stop. I've already done my cameo for 'Ant-Man' and that's a pretty good one, too." He later added of his chances at being in "Captain America: Civil War": "I better be in it, and actually, I never know, because sometimes they'll shoot a movie in another part of the world and I'm not able to get there. So I hope they shoot it somewhere around here so I can do a scene."

Opens in theaters on July 16.

After a Grodd-heavy teaser for its upcoming episode hit the web, "The Flash" has now revealed the synopsis for its season finale, and it contains an unexpected spoiler for who will show up:

"Fast Enough" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV) EPIC SEASON FINALE; VICTOR GARBER AND ROBBIE AMELL GUEST STAR - Wells (Tom Cavanagh) presents Barry (Grant Gustin) with a life-changing choice. Dr. Martin Stein (guest star Victor Garber) and Ronnie Raymond (guest star Robbie Amell) return to help the S.T.A.R. Labs team with this final fight. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Gabrielle Stanton & Andrew Kreisberg (#123). Original airdate 5/19/2015.

Speaking of Firestorm, actor Victor Garber spoke to Broadway World about his alter ego's possible role in the CW's superhero team-up spinoff, saying, "We haven't filmed any of it yet - but, it is going straight to series.

"I think it's going to be a very fun ride. I really honestly can't tell you much about it except it is completely new and it will involve a lot of interesting people."

Meanwhile, Green Arrow TV has a report up claiming a 3-minute presentation for the spinoff will appear at this year's network upfronts.
