TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES

Collider spotted a few new images from the film courtesy of the Idle Hands blog. The pictures come from the forthcoming "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History" and besides a few good looks at the Turtles and a new shot of April, we also get a glimpse of Master Splinter and Shredder.

That design reminds me of Super Shredder from "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze." And with that in mind, I hope Vanilla Ice gets a cameo in this new one.

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

According to the Spanish language website, El Multicine, Emily Blunt may be in the running for a role in the "Man of Steel" Sequel/"Justice League" Prequel. According to the translation offered by Comic Book Movie, "Now her name returns to the orbit of comic adaptations with her possible incorporation in 'Batman v Superman', directed by Zack Snyder." Not much to go on and this comes with a massive grain of salt warning from CBM, but feel free to speculate on who she might play in a film stuffed with DC Comics characters.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

While talking to Hitflix about his new series, "Halt and Catch Fire," actor Lee Pace was asked what aspect of the film he's most excited to see. "Groot" he replied, joking that the CGI creature was an "asshole" who never wanted to be on the set. The actor, who plays Ronan the Accuser in the film adds, "[I] want to see how my spaceship turns out. I've seemed a little bit of the concept art and whatnot but, yeah. That movie is going to be really good."

CONSTANTINE

As we reported here at CBR, the TV series based on "Hellblazer" and the modern John Constantine will premiere on October 24th, just in time for Halloween festivities. Not really sure if John enjoys Halloween. He always struck me as more of a Bonfire Night sort of chap. As noted in the article, the series will be one of the last new shows to debut on NBC's schedule come the fall.

THE WALKING DEAD

If you've not read the book beyond, oh, issue #100, you might want to just skip this one. The lads at Comic Book Movie took note of a hot rumor at the Spoiling Dead Fans Facebook page concerning the death of a fairly prominent character. They have a fellow cast member's ominous tweet, "When someone great is gone" to back up their claim. You may have some idea who might be in for the hard goodbye, but tread into this rumor at your own risk. It comes with the highest level of spoiler warning.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

From about 12 minutes into this video from Collider, actor Clark Gregg discusses shooting the first season and teases a few aspects of Season 2:

STARCASTING

So, who's excited to hear Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie have joined the great and glorious cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII?" I'm ... ambivalent. All the stuff coming out, from casting to leaked photos, should fill me with confidence. Instead, I'm still unsure. I suppose, like many of you, I just have to be weary with my excitement regarding just about anything with "Star" in the title. I will say this, though: I don't envy director J.J. Abrams and the level of scrutiny he's under while making the film.Meanwhile, got any rampant rumors or weird comic book stuff? Be sure to drop us an email or sling us a webline on Twitter!
