MAN OF STEEL 2

Digital Spy talked to "Mad Max: Fury Road" director George Miller about the rumors that he will direct the "Man of Steel" sequel.

When asked if he'd had conversations with Warner Bros. about the "Man of Steel" followup, he explained, "There's been some of that in the mix, but I'd say probably not true."

"I hope the next film I make is a very small film without any special effects and not many stunts," he laughed.

SPIDER-MAN

At this week's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" Blu-ray release press event, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige spoke out about potential Spider-Man spinoff properties.

"Well, there could be [spin-offs]," Feige said. "But the truth is, our job right now is that single Spider-Man movie based in the MCU. And that's where all our focus is."

And while Feige admitted he had not seen the fake "Spider-Gwen" trailer that made the rounds earlier this week, he did have a positive thing to say about Marvel's newest web-slinger. "I think Spider-Gwen in the comics is cool," said Feige.

WATCHMEN

HBO has confirmed earlier reports that the network has met with "Watchmen" director Zack Snyder about a potential TV show based on the influential 1986 DC Comics miniseries created by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons.

"Preliminary discussions regarding 'Watchmen' have occurred," the cable network said in a statement to Deadline, "but we have no additional information and no deals are in place." The website suggests the discussion took place "months ago," and that there are no talks at the moment with Snyder, who's occupied with Warner Bros.' upcoming DC movie slate, including "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" and "Justice League."
