SUICIDE SQUAD

Umberto Gonzalez has another rumor from the "Suicide Squad" set, this time focusing on Jared Leto's portrayal of the Joker. The rumor states that Leto is staying in character in-between takes and has a portrayal of the villain that might just rival Heath Ledger's.

HOT RUMOR! Sources are telling me that Jared Leto is going all out for his portrayal of the Joker in Suicide Squad & that he is staying in character behind the scenes on set. I'm also told his performance will rival if not surpass Heath Ledger's portrayal of the Joker. #SuicideSquad #skwad #TheJoker #Joker #JokerLeto #JaredLeto #dc #dccomics #dccu A photo posted by Umberto Gonzalez (@umbertogonzalez) on

ARROW

You can check out a recap of last night's season finale, "My Name is Oliver Queen," over on Spinoff.

Variety has an interview with executive producer Marc Guggenheim about where the show will go in season 4.

"We're kind of doing a lot more in terms of the big bad for next year than we have in previous season finales," said Guggenheim. "We first heard about Damien Darhk in episode 321 and there's a pivotal sequence that surrounds Damien Darhk in the season three finale, so that's exciting. It feels like we're pulling a 'True Blood' or a 'Sons of Anarchy' where the big bad for the following year is teed up in the season finale of this year, so that's kind of exciting for me because that's something we've never seen before."

SUPERGIRL

CBS has released a six minute long teaser for their upcoming "Supergirl" series.

If you're interested in seeing the difference a change in soundtrack makes, compare the above -- which uses more modern music -- to the below trailer, which makes use of a score.

Premieres this November on CBS

TITANS

"Titans," a series based on the "New Teen Titans" series, was first mentioned back in September with Akiva Goldsman ("A Beautiful Mind") and Marc Haimes attached to pen the pilot. Now that pilot is in development at TNT, and TV Line got an update on the project from TNT president Kevin Reilly during the network's Upfronts luncheon.

"Akiva's been very busy doing some other things," replied Reilly when asked about the status of "Titans," adding that he hopes to cast the project and begin production "maybe this summer." Reilly continued, addressing the fact that there are already so many superhero shows on television -- specifically shows based on DC Comics characters. "I sat down with Akiva and said -- and he ultimately agreed -- that the [TV] landscape right now is well-serviced on the superhero front," said Reilly. "So what space is this going to inhabit?"

The TNT head stated that it's Goldsman's intent to be "very true" to the source material, which Reilly stated was "was a groundbreaking property when it first started... There were consequences to things that happened; it wasn't somebody died and they moved on. There was the first superhero to be an addict," said Reilly, referencing Green Arrow's former partner Speedy. "It's a coming-of-age story for Robin, who feels like Batman has betrayed him."

"I think it's going to end up being a very, very interesting offering," Reilly concluded. "I think it's going to be excellent."

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

In an interview with Variety, Michael Fassbender briefly touched upon his status with the X-Men franchise.

"I will shoot a hundred of them," said Fassbender. "The contract is in three film deals, and this is the last of that. But I'll be curious to see what happens next." We'll have to wait and see if Fox takes Fassbender up on his offer to do 97 more "X-Men" movies.

Director Bryan Singer has posted a rather cryptic image from the "Apocalypse" set which features uniformed men in the woods, armed with bows and arrows.
