GOTHAMThe first set photos from Fox's "Gotham" pilot have surfaced online, giving fans the very first look at Ben McKenzie as Jim Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock and Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot.

ARROWSpeaking of DC Comics-based shows, the CW's "Arrow" airs its "Suicide Squad" episode this week, and USA Today has posted a new clip of Diggle and Lyla Michaels at A.R.G.U.S. headquarters.

"Obviously all these characters facilitate the creation and the exploration of the hero. All of the stories lead back to Oliver," actor John Ramsey told USA Today. "What's been most impressive is making these other characters interesting but also still connecting them to Oliver without being heavy-handed."

Comic Book Movie has posted new photos from the upcoming "Birds of Prey" episode that heralds the return of Jessica De Gouw as The Huntress, though perhaps one of the most intriguing stills is of Katie Cassidy's Laurel Lance in an attack stance.

Finally, Marc Guggenheim has confirmed the reports that "The Flash" cast members Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes will make their first appearance in the 19th episode of "Arrow," introducing their characters Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramon to the "Arrow"-verse prior to "The Flash" pilot.

"One of our writers had a great pitch for bringing in a couple of the S.T.A.R. Labs characters, Cisco and Caitlin," Guggenheim told reporters. "Even though the circumstances of that pitch changed, the idea of bringing in those characters really, really appealed to us, because it allowed us to honor our original intention that we had at the beginning of the year -- doing something 'Flash' related around episode 19 or 20."

Airs Wednesdays on the CW

SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FORThe Playlist has posted three new photos from "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" -- not a whole lot of surprises here, but the photos definitely keep with the tone of the previous film and have some cool stylistic choices.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.Spoiler TV has posted new promotional photos from the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." episode, "End of the Beginning" -- especially of note are the photos of J. August Richards more fully suited up as Deathlok, and the appearance of Maximiliano Hernandez as Agent Jasper Sitwell and Saffron Burrows reprising her role as Agent Victoria Hand.

Airs Tuesdays on ABC

iZOMBIEIGN spoke with "iZombie" pilot scribe Rob Thomas about his take on the Vertigo series adaptation -- and as expected from the show's character descriptions, the television series takes a departure from the source material.

"The studio and network want a new cool female lead on the CW. They want something in the vein of Buffy or Veronica Mars, so they're asking me to write in the tone I normally write in," Thomas told IGN. "It will not be a zombie apocalypse show. It will be fun, cool, smart, funny female lead who happens to be a zombie. She has to eat brains in order to survive. ... We're not sticking that close to the comic. The thing that we're taking from the comic is the mid-20s female zombie who eats brains and gets the memories of the dead, but we put her in the coroner's office so there's a case of the week each week where she gets snippets of memories each week and tries to solve the crime."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2Comic Book Movie has posted new photos from "Amazing Spider-Man 2," which includes a small look at a fully-suited-up Rhino and a pretty close-up look at the Green Goblin. (Photo cropped in case you've managed to not spoil who actually plays him.)

Also, the United States Postal Service has posted a new "Amazing Spider-Man 2" themed commercial starring Spider-Man and Stan Lee. Nothing super new here, just mildly entertaining.
