SUICIDE SQUAD

Latino Review's Umberto Gonzalez has posted another Instagram rumor, this time focusing on Jason Todd and the Red Hood's possible involvement in the film. If you want to go into "Suicide Squad" totally void of anything even remotely resembling a spoiler, though, consider this your spoiler warning.

RT! #DC #RUMOR #BatmanvSupermanDawnofJustice Jason Todd's uniform is in a display case inside the Batcave! In fact, The Joker & Harley Quinn are estranged in SUICIDE SQUAD because she feels guilt over the death of Todd. I'm also told that the RED HOOD is now a priority character for DC. One more thing, John Wick directors Chad Stahelski & David Leith being courted to direct DC film! #dccu #dcmovie #batmanvsuperman #suicidesquad #skwad #dccomics #TheJoker #harleyquinn #jasontodd #redhood #ChadStahelski #DavidLeitch A photo posted by Umberto Gonzalez (@umbertogonzalez) on

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

You can read a recap of last night's episode, "Afterlife," over on Spinoff. ABC has also aired a promo for next week's installment, "Melinda."

J. August Richards spoke with CBR about his return to "S.H.I.E.L.D." and what he's been up to.

"Coulson has had Deathlok in his back pocket since we saw him last, so he pulls me out of hiding to help him out with this really huge mission that is vital to S.H.I.E.L.D.," said Richards. "As you can see [showing off his new Deathlok gear], I got a lot of upgrades while I've been gone. My costume is very different. There are things that are still the same. The character has been evolving since we've seen him last. This is, like, Deathlok 2.0."

And here's a pic of those costume upgrades.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

"Age of Ultron" has released its sixth TV spot, this one teasing the end of the world.

A new featurette has also been released that explores the film's international feel.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, director Joss Whedon revealed that while there will be a mid-credits stinger, there will be no post-credits scene.

"There is nothing at the very end. And that's not a fake-out," Whedon explained. "We want people to know so they don't sit there for 10 minutes and then go: 'Son of a bitch! I'll kill them!'"

Whedon said he and Marvel tried to come up with one, but it just didn't work out. "It didn't seem to lend itself in the same way, and we wanted to be true to what felt right... The first rule of making a sequel is take the best moments and do something else. Don't do the 'Indiana Jones' gun trick again differently. Just go somewhere else. Don't try to hit the same highs, because people will sense it."

AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

Marvel has confirmed that Joe and Anthony Russo will direct the upcoming two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" film event. The directors have been the rumored frontrunners for the job since way back in November. In late March, the duo's involvement in "Infinity War" was reported as official by The Hollywood Reporter and Badass Digest. With this announcement, Marvel officially cements the Russos as the next "Avengers" directors. Nestled within the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe franchise, the blockbuster "Avengers" franchise has so far been the brainchild of writer/director Joss Whedon. Whedon has been behind the camera for both 2012's "Marvel's the Avengers" and the upcoming "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

"Part 1" opens on May 4, 2018; "Part 2" opens on May 3, 2019

DAREDEVIL

Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada has revealed a piece of artwork he created for the Netflix show via his Tumblr.

DEADPOOL

Ed Skrein's role in the upcoming "Deadpool" film has remained a mystery even as other cast members revealed their roles. Now, thanks to a picture posted to the "Transporter Legacy" star's Twitter account, we now know that Skrein is playing Ajax. Created by writer Joe Kelly and artist Walter McDaniel, Ajax debuted in 1998's "Deadpool" #14 and tormented the Merc with a Mouth for an arc before being defeated in issue #19. Like Deadpool, Ajax was also a failed product of Canada's Weapon X program. The Weapon X doctors killed his pain receptors and jacked up his physical prowess, making him super strong, fast and durable.

The Daily Mail has more photos of Deadpool in action, and this time around he's sporting his trademark white eyes.

THE FLASH

The CW has released an extended trailer for the next "Flash" episode, "All-Star Team Up."

The CW has also released a batch of photos for episode 19 of "Flash's" first season, which is titled "Who Is Harrison Wells?"

IZOMBIE

The CW has released a batch of promo pics -- and a promo -- for the upcoming "Flight of the Living Dead" episode.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

In a recent chat with Esquire, actor Oscar Isaac discussed how he's preparing to play the title villain in the next X-Men film.

"You find something that makes it interesting for you," said Isaac. "With 'X-Men,' it's about why this woman who invented Apocalypse, [writer] Louise Simonson, she was tasked with: make a new arch-villain. She said, 'OK, I'll make the embodiment of the Second Coming with the Four Horseman and all.' That's scary shit. So I'm curious about that. What's the philosophical expression behind the apocalypse? What apocalypse means, which comes from the Greek for 'to reveal.' To lift back the curtain."
