IRON FIST
Production on "Iron Fist" is creeping closer to starting, as it now has both a production name ("Kick") and showrunner in Scott Buck. The series also has a synopsis and character breakdowns for two series regulars.
Iron Fist focuses on Daniel Rand and his return to New York City after being missing for four years. The series follows Rand as he fights against the criminal element corrupting New York City with his kung-fu mastery and ability to summon the power of the fiery Iron Fist.
Due to it being early in production, the descriptions, discovered by Den of Geek, use codenames rather than actual character names.
DYLAN KENDALL
25 - 28 yrs old Handsome and sophisticated, independent and a loner.
SERIES REGULAR
HARRY MARSHALL
45 - 50 yrs old Caucasian, highly intelligent, merciless, confident and arrogant, physically active.
SERIES REGULAR
While the first is most likely Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist himself, the second name is much less obvious. Den of Geek narrowed the options down to several characters from Rand's comic book history, including previous wielder of the iron fist power Orson Randall.
SUICIDE SQUAD
ComicBookMovie has spotted a new synopsis for "Suicide Squad," which came along with DC Collectibles' announcement of four 12" movie tie-in statues. The four include:
DEADSHOT - SCULPTED BY ADAM ROSS
HARLEY QUINN - SCULPTED BY JAMES MARSANO
KILLER CROC - SCULPTED BY ALTERTON
THE JOKER - SCULPTED BY JAMES MARSANO
The new synopsis reads:
It feels good to be bad...Assemble a team of the world's most dangerous, incarcerated Super Villains, provide them with the most powerful arsenal at the government's disposal, and send them off on a mission to defeat an enigmatic, insuperable entity. U.S. intelligence officer Amanda Waller has determined only a secretly convened group of disparate, despicable individuals with next to nothing to lose will do. However, once they realize they weren't picked to succeed but chosen for their patent culpability when they inevitably fail, will the Suicide Squad resolve to die trying, or decide it's every man for himself?
