COMIC REEL: New "Transformers: Age of Extinction" Clip; "Predator" Gets a Reboot

Paramount has released a new clip from "Transformers: Age of Extinction" featuring Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor. It's a pretty typical father/daughter's boyfriend interaction -- but with the added twist of trying to break in to a secure facility.

Bleeding Cool has posted a new "Gotham" promo image in DC Comics' releases this week. It's not much to look at, but it's pretty cool to see the airships still driving around the airspace of Gotham City.

HitFix spoke with pilot director Danny Cannon about his time on the show, and possibly getting back behind the camera for a big reveal.

"I have a big pitch with Bruno about the Mr. Freeze character, whose origins are uncertain," Cannon told HitFix. "If I can win Geoff Johns over and if I can win Bruno over, then I look forward to the moment where that character can be realized."

Debuts this Fall on Fox

"Predator" will get a reboot at the hands of Shane Black and Fred Dekker. Black will direct and oversee writing of a script by Dekker. While no plot details or casting announcements were made, original "Predator" producers John Davis, Joel Silver and Lawrence Gordon will return as producers for the reboot.

The initial The Hollywood Reporter piece discussing Black's "Predator" reboot noted that the director is also working on an adaptation of "Doc Savage," and recently met with "Thor" star Chris Hemsworth for the lead role. However, according to THR, the project is still "grappling with budgetary issues," though Sony still considers it one of its priorities.

"The Flash" pilot reportedly leaked online recently -- though it was quickly pulled down -- but not before Comic Book Movie (Don't click unless you want spoilers) pulled a screenshot of a shot of "The Central City Citizen," the official newspaper of Central City. A minor article on the front page teases a "Wayne Tech/Queen Inc. Merger." It's likely that this will come up at some point during "Arrow," but it's impossible to say at this point whether this could mean an appearance by Bruce Wayne in the "Arrow"-verse. With "Gotham" airing on FOX, and the character being a primary focus of "Batman V Superman," it's somewhat unlikely he'd appear in the CW's shows -- but you never know.

The first teaser for "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" has arrived in the form of a viral video featuring Donald Sutherland as President Snow.
