STAR WARS"Girls" star Adam Driver is in talks for the "Star Wars: Episode VII" villain role. The report comes via Variety, which confirms the talks are happening, and though the deal isn't done, it's reported as close.

X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PASTDen of Geek interviewed Hugh Jackman about his role in "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and the stakes of the situation for Wolverine.

"For all the X-Men, including my character, everything's at stake. I'd say the danger levels are the highest they've ever been in this movie," Jackman told Den of Geek. "It's certainly the greatest threat or villain they've faced. So for everyone involved, the stakes couldn't be higher. It's as dangerous as it gets for all of them. This is a continuation of the franchise, so in a way we're combining two X-Men worlds. I don't know how much you've been told... I don't know how much there's been mentioned of the timeline... So when it starts, Wolverine's very much part of the group, and I know that's not always been the case."

THE SANDMANIt looks like "The Sandman" film development is actually gaining some momentum. Screenwriter Jack Thorne has been hired to script "The Sandman" based on a treatment pitch by producer David S. Goyer. No other details were revealed -- but it's a positive development for the movie, which has Goyer, series creator Neil Gaiman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt all on board as producers.

BATMAN/SUPERMANEmpire Online spoke with Kevin Spacey -- the Lex Luthor of "Superman Returns" -- about his opinion on Jesse Eisenberg's recent casting in the role for the "Man of Steel" sequel.

"First of all, I think [Jesse Eisenberg] is a remarkable actor. He's just going to fucking own it," Spacey told Empire. "I think it's a great idea and I wish him the best with it."

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.Marvel has released a new clip from next week's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." episode, "Tahiti," featuring Bill Paxton in action as Agent Garrett.

Also, I took a look at the "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." ratings and viewer numbers in anticipation of its return next week. There are a lot of interesting trends, and it's worth taking a look.
