COMIC REEL: Marvel Special Airs "Ant-Man" Footage; "Flash" Faces Rogues In New Clip

Some behind the scenes footage from "Ant-Man" popped up during last night's "Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop" special, including shots of Michael Douglas as Hank Pym and Paul Rudd's Scott Lang coming face-to-face with the Ant-Man suit. After the "Ant-Man" tease, the low quality clip below then segues into some behind the scenes footage from "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

During ABC's "Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp To Pop!" special, viewers were treated to an extended scene from the upcoming "Agent Carter" series. The clip features some charming exposition delivered by Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper), introduces audiences to James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis and ends with a bit of ass-kicking from Hayley Atwell's Agent Carter.

Premieres in January 2015 on ABC

ABC aired a new promo for next week's episode, "The Writing On the Wall," which you can see in the low quality clip below. The new trailer offers up completely different footage than the one we saw last week, highlighting more of the manhunt for Ward than Coulson's mysterious and compulsory writing.

Airs Tuesdays on ABC

The CW announced that "Arrow's" fall finale will air on December 10. Odds are we won't get to see Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer don his Atom duds before then, but a recent tweet from the actor hints that we might see that happen in 2015. Routh snapped a pic of himself getting fitted for a head mold, which may mean that his character will soon be putting on a mask.

Director Joss Whedon spoke to Vulture about the upcoming sequel, touching upon Idris Elba's recent unplanned reveal that both he and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) have a scene in the new "Avengers" film.

"Um, should [Elba] receive an email from me, there might be an attitude of scold," said Whedon. "I'm sure Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was in touch... Yeah, when you have a cast of 19,000 people, inevitably, once every month, you pick up [a story where a secret is revealed] and you're like, 'Awww.'"

Opens May 1, 2015

Irish actor Jonjo O'Neill will make his debut next week as Gary "Gaz" Lester in the fourth episode of the NBC horror drama, and series star Matt Ryan welcomed him to the "Constantine" family by tweeting out a few promo photos of the character in action.

Following his reported dismissal of Marvel's tradition of post-credits scenes in a Guardian profile, "Dark Knight" helmer and "Man of Steel" producer Christopher Nolan has backtracked a bit.

He was initially reported as saying that "a real movie" would not include a comedic coda scene. Now the filmmaker has made a statement to Buzzfeed saying, "I would never say someone else's film isn't 'a real film.' The quote is inaccurate."

"The Flash" will see it's fall finale race to the air on December 9. The CW has also posted a featurette where the show's cast discusses the Scarlet Speedster's ever-growing rogues' gallery.

Airs Tuesdays on the CW

Entertainment Weekly has reported that "Gotham's" ratings have risen for the first time since the show's impressive debut. This past Monday's episode saw its ratings increase nine percent to 6.5 million viewers and a 2.4 rating. EW hypothesizes that this may have something to do with the content of the episode, which saw more than the usual amount of screentime given to breakout star Robin Lord Taylor, who plays the Penguin.

Airs Mondays on Fox

EW has reported that "The Walking Dead" has bested the previously unbeatable "Sunday Night Football's" ratings for the second time this season. The zombie drama scored a 7.6 rating among adults 18-49, beating out "SNF's" 6.1 rating. Overall, though, more people did tune into "Football" -- about 17 million compared to "Dead's" 14.5. But still, that's 8 million more viewers for the cable drama than Fox's "Gotham."

A new promo for "Self Help" has been airing in New Zealand, and it features a pretty passionate monologue from Michael Cudlitz's Abraham.

Airs Sundays on AMC
