AKA JESSICA JONES

Work continues on Marvel Studios' next Netflix series, and the UK's Daily Mail nabbed some new photos of star Krysten Ritter shooting a scene where the titular fallen superhero takes some new battle damage.

PREACHER

Friday saw the latest set photo release from Seth Rogen - co-director of the AMC pilot based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon's Vertigo classic. It looks as if this take on "Preacher" is going big with some helicopter crash action.

Slated for later in 2015.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

While the first photos of him in his Crossbones costume just arrived online last week, it appears that actor Frank Grillo has already wrapped his time on the set according to multiple sites including ComicBook.com. Of course, Marvel films are known for their late game reshoots, so we may see the actor suit up again, but for now, he's dunzo.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

In the DC/Marvel crossover no one was expecting, "The Flash" Firestorm actor Robbie Amell showed up on the set of Bryan Singer's incoming mutant sequel. That doesn't mean he's playing a part in the '80s X-Men adventure, but fans can dream if they want.

THE WALKING DEAD

In "grain of salt" news, the hit AMC zombie drama is gearing up for this fall's sixth season with a casting notice for Allison -a woman in hr late 20s to early 40s who's a charming psychologist. The description doesn't match to any characters from the comics, but the Alexandria storyline has already taken plenty of liberties with Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's source material.

Returns this October to AMC.
