SUPERGIRL

In light of this weekend's terrorist attacks in Paris, which left communities worldwide mourning the loss of at least 132 lives, CBS has decided to pull the "Supergirl" episode the network had scheduled to air Monday. Instead, viewers will see a holiday-themed installment that had previously been slated for the following week.

Additionally, a promo for tonight's episode -- "Livewire" -- has been released.

While chatting with ComicBook.com, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg promised a shout out to the '80s "Supergirl" film in upcoming episodes of the new show.

"We're always incredibly conscious of what's come before us," said Kreisberg. "Between Greg and I and now Ali, we consider ourselves blessed that we get to be the stewards for this leg of these characters' journeys. We don't feel a sense of proprietariness to these characters; we know we have them on loan. Having nods to the past -- casting John Wesley Shipp on 'The Flash' and having Amanda Pays on and really even having Matt Ryan on 'Arrow' is always paying back what's come before. So having Helen Slater and having Dean Cain -- because honestly that Supergirl movie obviously has its many flaws but when I was a kid, I didn't realize those flaws as much and I used to watch it all the time. I watched 'Lois and Clark.' Having a sense of history I think has been part of our success. I think it's said to the fans out there that we are fans, and we really are. There's a couple of shout-outs to the 'Supergirl' movie coming up that I think the fans are going to be excited about."

DOCTOR STRANGE

ComicBookMovie has an update on "Doctor Strange's" production, noting that it has moved from Nepal to Longcross Studios in the UK. Cumberbatch also recently informed Queen Elizabeth II of his itinerary while receiving his Commander of the British Empire award, saying, "She asked what I was doing at the moment," Cumberbatch said to press at the event. "I told her I'd finished a three-month run at the Barbican. And I told her I just got back last night from filming in Nepal, playing Doctor Strange for Marvel, which it has just begun. I go back to doing in-studio work here tomorrow..."

THE FLASH

TV Line has more information regarding the upcoming "Flash"/"Arrow" crossover, including news about Iris West's role -- or lack of one -- in the event.

"Sorry, fans," said Candice Patton, who revealed that Iris is "actually not involved at all. I know that's quite a disappointment to a lot of people, but she's not involved in the crossovers that we have explored thus far. It doesn't mean that we won't ever see that. We know that crossovers have been extremely popular in our universe ... so I'm sure we'll have more."

TV Line also mentioned that Joe West and Captain Lance won't have much to do in the two-parter, either.
