DAREDEVIL

Everything can change in a moment. Case in point, just Thursday word spread that "Spy" and "Furious 7" star Jason Statham was in talks to play Bullseye in the second season of Netflix and Marvel Studios' "Daredevil." Latino Review broke the story, which spread like wildfire. However, yesterday reveals that Statham is no longer in the running.

CBR News was the first to debunk the rumor with a response from Marvel Television saying there was "no truth to it at all."

A new image of the Batmobile from Warner Bros.' upcoming "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" premiered in License! SUICIDE SQUAD

Photographer Ryan Emberley posted a new image from the set of David Ayer's "Suicide Squad" on his instagram featuring Deadshot (played by Will Smith in the film) in full costume -- including a full face mask. It's unclear whether it is Smith in the costume or a stunt double but we can definitely make out Deadshot's eyepiece in the image.

XMEN: APOCALYPSE

The social media blitz of "X-Men: Apocalypse" continues with a tweet from the official twitter account of the Montreal Canadiens, who posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the set featuring Director Bryan Singer wearing one of the NHL team's jerseys. The photo looks like it was taken from inside the X-Mansion with actor Nicholas Hoult -- who plays Dr. Henry McCoy, aka Beast -- visible in the image.

SUPERGIRL

While at a signing for his recently released original graphic novel "Batman: Earth One Vol. 2," Geoff Johns spoke with IGN and addressed some of the criticism regarding CBS's "Supergirl" trailer.

"Everyone deserves to have a reaction, but at the end of the day, I believe in the pilot, I believe in the show. When people see the pilot, they're going to be blown away," Johns said. "I think the greatest thing about the Supergirl show we're working on and the thing I'm most proud of is it embodies the character and the Superman mythology in a really strong, accessible way that I think carries at least the tone and spirit with what we've done with The Flash. And Melissa Benoist is an amazing Supergirl and Kara Danvers. I'm just excited for people to see it."

Premieres this November on CBS

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD

Robert Kirkman spoke with Entertainment Weekly about the upcoming "Walking Dead" prequel series "Fear the Walking Dead" and revealed that it is in fact not a prequel -- sort of.

"I will say that I don't consider this show to be a prequel to 'The Walking Dead,' because there will be a point where a certain episode of this show will line up with season 2 of 'The Walking Dead,' and a certain episode of this show will line up with season 3 of 'The Walking Dead.' So we will be progressing through time to the point that we do pass the initial days of the outbreak. But how fast it is that we get there? That's just going to have to remain a mystery."

So it seems that while the series starts off in the early days of the zombie apocalypse, time progresses throughout so it eventually crosses into the timeline of the "Walking Dead."

Premieres on AMC in 2015
