CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

HeyUGuys has an interview with Tom Holland wherein the Spider-Man actor talks about one of his "Civil War" set injuries.

"It was my own mistake. I basically fell over and bashed my face in front of about two hundred crew members, so not my most heroic moment! It was luckily just before my last shot; they were like, 'Roll cameras!', I was getting into position, everything went wrong, and they still did the take anyway. It looks great and they'll probably just CGI out all the blood, and yeah, I was very lucky." You can watch his green carpet interview below.

AGENT CARTER

The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Kurtwood Smith has joined the cast of "Agent Carter's" second season. Smith will play a character named Vernon Masters, "a veteran of the War Department with a keen understanding of how to work the system."

"We had the pleasure of working with Kurtwood on both 'Resurrection' and 'Chaos,' and were well aware of what a commanding presence he is," Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Chris Dingess told Marvel.com. "So when we were developing the character of Vernon Masters, we wrote it with him in mind. We just never thought we could actually get him. Thankfully, we were wrong."

AQUAMAN

During an appearance at Dallas Comic-Con, Jason Momoa talked about his inspiration for playing Aquaman.

"So, there's not really a lot of spoilers I can give away. But the research I've done on the New 52 stuff with Geoff Johns, and just researching who he is, he's amazing," said Momoa, as transcribed by ComicBookMovie. "He's got a lot of powers. He's extremely tough. He's super strong. But I'm excited about... there's a big beautiful map laid out and I wish I could carry it with me. It'll come out soon enough and you'll see just how big it's going to be."

Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) sides with Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) and deems it too dangerous for Barry to engage with the speed demon. However, Iris (Candice Patton) shows her support and brings forth a surprising ally. We see what Earth-2 Harrison Wells' (Tom Cavanagh) life was like before coming through the breech. JJ Makaro directed the episode written by Gabrielle Stanton & Brooke Eikmeier.

While talking with TV Line, Grant Gustin and Jesse L. Martin talked about the sudden departure of Barry's father (played by John Wesley Shipp) from the show.

"Barry was not really understanding why, but trying to just give it to him and be supportive of him needing space, I guess, even though it's kind of confusing to Barry," said Gustin. "He's not sure if he's supposed to reach out or not right now, but he'll be there again when Barry needs him."

Martin added: "Maybe he has things he needs to do with his own life, and Barry's a grown man -- and also a superhero! Maybe he felt that getting out of his way would be a better thing. I still don't get it, though."

ComicBook.com learned during a set visit that Gorilla Grodd -- the all CG villain -- will return in season two.
