USA Today interviewed Michael Rooker about his time in the film as Yondu, saying he's "not a good guy, not a bad guy. There's hope and there's a heart inside Yondu." USA Today also debuted some really great photos of Rooker's version of the character.

Comic Book Movie has posted a new extended TV spot that gives a very good look at Ronan the Accuser.

In SuperHeroHype's interview with James Gunn, the director discussed how Marvel Cinematic Universe architect Joss Whedon helped shape the direction of the script.

"After I wrote the first draft of my screenplay everybody seemed to be very excited," Gunn told SuperHeroHype. "They seemed to really love the screenplay and Louis D'Esposito and Kevin Feige and everybody was coming to me and telling how great it was. Then Joss came in and Joss was happy, but he wasn't as happy as everybody else and I was like, 'Whoa man!' and he's like, 'Well I really loved this and this is great, and the story's been cracked, but you know I just really want there to be more 'James Gunn' in a script. There's things that are too conventional and I want more James Gunn in it.' I was kinda' like sittin' there and then Kevin and Lou were like, 'Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah' and I was like, 'All right, your funeral.' Then went home and I swear to God, I wrote a a 7-page scene where the guys are in the spaceship arguing about something and it's all dialogue and we're about to shoot it on Friday."

Opens August 1

New photos and a set video from Marvel & Netflix's "Daredevil" have debuted online, and while they're unofficial, both the video and photo give a pretty good idea of what to expect from the key scene of Matt Murdock losing his sight and gaining his radar sense. Check out both below.

According to "Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim, the third season begins production today. Guggenheim even gave a tease of the season's first episode via Twitter.

Returns this Fall on the CW

It looks like Michael Douglas is still on board for "Ant-Man." The veteran actor will make an appearance at Comic-Con before heading to Atlanta in August to begin filming. While speaking with Collider, Douglas also elaborated on his earlier comments about Edgar Wright leaving the project earlier this year.

"He's a wonderful talent," Douglas told Collider. "It was very disappointing, yeah. It was a big disappointment and more so for him because he had a lot of years invested and he was really the one initially who got them to even consider it, you know, the screenplay that he wrote. I'm not the producer on it and I'm an actor for hire, and, you know, Marvel certainly has a pretty amazing track record, rightly or wrongly, so I think it just was that kind of combination where although they like the idea of the individual and somebody with Edgar's individual spirit and everything, maybe just collided with an operation -- I think they're all on relatively decent terms."

Opens July 17, 2015

"Hannibal" and "30 Days of Night" director David Slade has been tapped to direct the first two episodes of PlayStation Network's "Powers" adaptation. Slade will join showrunner Charlie Huston as executive producers for the first two episodes.

Debuts in December on PlayStation Network

As a follow-up to yesterday's big rumor, it seems that if there is a fake script for "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" floating around, it wasn't written by Kevin Smith. The director took to his Silent Bob Speaks blog to clarify matters, saying that while he's had a lot of creative flow with screenplays, none of them have been a fake script for "Batman V Superman."

"C'mon, kids... No major studio would let a guy like me near their franchises -- even if it was for a dummy script meant solely to fool the news sites," Smith said on his blog. "The little I know of the flick beyond that I learned from some cats involved (though never BatFleck himself; as I've said a few times now on the Babble-On podcast, beyond email, I haven't spoken to Ben in years). Fun story, though."
