GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2

Video of a pre-VFX special effects and stunt sequence from "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" has popped up on Facebook. The stunt, filmed near Cartersville, Georgia, depicts fleeing crowds and a decidedly Earthly setting.

An Easter egg was also spotted on the set -- a tiny movie theater decked out for a Simon Williams film festival. And Nathan Fillion appears in the posters as Williams, a character known as Wonder Man in the comics.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

More TV spots have been released for "Civil War," with one featuring a bit of a new scene between Black Widow and Captain America...

...and another one that features Spider-Man tangling with Winter Soldier.

And a new pair of posters show both sides of the "Civil War" ready to face off.

LUCIFER

TV Line has an interview with "Lucifer" showrunner Joe Henderson wherein he talks about last night's big season finale reveal -- Lucifer's mom is on the loose.

"The biggest question is going to be, 'Who is Mom?'" said Henderson. "We're excited to figure out who we're going to cast because we think it's going to be a big, cool, meaty role for someone. I'm excited to see who we can get and what direction we take it in, that's Season 2. Season 1 was the story of a wayward son dealing with his father issues; Season 2 is Mom."

Henderson also spoke about who Lucifer's mother is: "That is one of the mysteries that we dive into. In the comics and common mythology, it's really not something that's been established, so this is us doing a little world building. This is us taking a step and exploring the answer to a question a lot of people never asked and staking our own claim. There are a lot of directions we can go and we've chosen one that we're really excited about."

Returning for season 2 on Fox

SUICIDE SQUAD

While speaking with ComicBook.com at CinemaCon, actress Karen Fukuhara discussed Katana's role in "Suicide Squad": "She's very loyal to Amanda Waller and Rick Flag. She works under them and keeps a rowdy bunch in line. She's a protector and a fierce warrior."

Speaking on her trademark weapon, the Soultaker, Fukuhara teased one particular soul the blade stores within: "She has her husband's soul in her sword and I got to talk to Maseo throughout the film and yes, of course that's in the film, but you'll have to wait and see how much of the plays into the movie."

THE WALKING DEAD

TV Line has reported that AMC is currently casting an African-American character in his 40s named "Augustus" -- who sounds a bit like Ezekiel from the "Walking Dead" comics.

Ezekiel first appeared in Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard's "The Walking Dead" #108 as the self-proclaimed king of the Kingdom. A former zookeeper, the character keeps his tiger Shiva close by his side. Described as "flamboyant and wise, nice and weird," he is also a good friend of Paul "Jesus" Monroe, who appeared in season six of the television adaptation.

Returns this fall on AMC
