COMIC REEL: Gordon-Levitt On Board For "Sandman"; Wolverine's New "Days of Future Past" Suit

Joseph Gordon-Levitt is attached to produce (and possibly star in) a "Sandman" feature film. According to the original report over at Deadline, Gordon-Levitt will work with David Goyer to adapt the film, and may also be eyeing the director's chair for the film. No matter what his involvement, should Gordon-Levitt's deal actually go through, it's a very exciting prospect. His latest film, Don Jon, debuted to a positive critical response, and it'll certainly be interesting to see what he does with "Sandman."

That said, he's currently only signed on as a producer, as revealed on Twitter earlier today.

Just to clarify, folks. I've signed on as a producer on Sandman. The rest remains to be seen. Delighted you guys are excited. I am too!

The rumors about Paul Rudd's involvement in "Ant-Man" continue to persist, despite his insistence that he knows nothing about any plans to include him in the film. Total Film spoke with Rudd during the press junket for "Anchorman 2," and it seems he's still as in the dark as the general public.

"There's nothing that I know about or -- those are all those rumors, I saw them when you saw them," said Rudd. "So, it was certainly exciting to be included in a rumor. [Laughs]"
