CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIERSebastian Stan spoke with CBR about returning as Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier in "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" and how the film differs from "Captain America: The First Avenger."

"It's much more grounded and rooted in our world today, as we know it, in 2014. Joe Johnston did a great job in the first film, as an origin story that took place in the '40s. It was a different time. There was some propaganda. The World War II environment gave the movie a more faded, nostalgic look," Stan told CBR. "The Russo brothers had a very specific goal in mind. They wanted to really accentuate Cap's ability as a fighter. They wanted everything to be as realistic as possible. It doesn't feel very comic book-ish. It honors what's in the comic book, but it feels very realistic in terms of how people can relate to it. Who can you trust? What information is really the truth? The moral decisions behind what you believe in and what you stand for? All those things are themes in the movie that are happening now. It's a much darker, more realistic take on Captain America and embracing the world he is in."

Comic Book Movie has posted a new featurette focusing on Robert Redford's involvement in the film as Alexander Pierce.

Finally, JoBlo spoke with Kevin Feige about the current state of Marvel films, including the motivation behind bringing Captain America into the S.H.I.E.L.D. fold following "The Avengers."

"Tony (Stark) was going to go back to Malibu, Thor was going to go back to Asgard and Steve was stuck," Feige told JoBlo. "He would probably stay with S.H.I.E.L.D. and the group of people he got to know when he first woke up and how that would lead to great conflict, the morals and how they do things would come into conflict. And that led us to, okay, the first movie was a superhero film crossed with a World War II movie so what is this going to be. It suddenly became very, very clear that it needed to be a superhero movie with a thriller, with a Seventies political action-thriller film."

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 3Shailene Woodley's scenes didn't make the cut for "Amazing Spider-Man 2," and there was certainly some doubt that she'd come back to the role of Mary Jane Watson in subsequent films as a result. Total Film's recent interview with Woodley seems to corroborate that she's unsure whether there's a return to the franchise in her future, especially given her recent success in "Divergent."

"I have no idea," Woodley told Total Film of her possible "Amazing Spider-Man 3" involvment. "I don't know that I would even want to do two franchises at this point, having done ['Divergent.']"
