COMIC REEL: "Days Of Future Past" Rogue Cut Info Emerges; More "Age Of Ultron" Promo Art Revealed

While we've known for a while that Fox planned on re-releasing "Days of Future Past" on Blu-ray with the restored Rogue sequence, we haven't gotten an update about the alternate cut in a while. Now, X-Men Films has spotted a tweet from Fox Home Entertainment EVP of marketing communications James Finn that gives us a timetable for the project and teases other extras.

Thanks to the "Into the Woods" press tour's close proximity to Marvel's "Captain Marvel" announcement, Emily Blunt has spent a lot of her time this past month deflecting rumors about her playing Carol Danvers. Most recently, the actress had to set the record straight with Vulture.

"Oh! No one's offered me that officially, so it's ... [laughs] very unofficial," said Blunt. "I think it's fan-casting, which is always very nice. But nothing official has been offered, for sure."

Blunt also discussed the two previous Marvel roles she had to pass on: Black Widow in "Iron Man 2" and Peggy Carter in "Captain America: The First Avenger." "It was never the right time, really, and it just didn't work out scheduling-wise with those two," she said. "It's always a difficult thing to talk about, because it's not fair to the actresses who ended up playing them, you know? It just wasn't the right time."
