AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

You can read a recap of last night's episode, "Inside Man," right here on CBR. There's also a promo for next week's episode, "Parting Shot."

TVLine spoke with Chloe Bennet and "S.H.I.E.L.D." producers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen about Daisy's growth and her possible future. Whedon said that Daisy leading the Secret Warriors team "is more about trying to reflect Daisy's pursuit of this idea, her desire to bring people like her together." Daisy's team building is not without difficulty though, as "that does create complications, as you see [in the winter premiere] -- Hunter saying, 'Bloody powers.... How can we compete?' And everybody who's human in the field [last week] gets kidnapped because they can't compete. So it's definitely creating a dynamic within the team." With Hunter, Bobbi, and Mack unable to fight the Inhumans they run into in the field, it puts Daisy, Lincoln, YoYo, Joey in a position to be the better agents, which can make the rest of the team feel useless.

DAREDEVIL

While speaking with Variety, Charlie Cox revealed what he thinks "Daredevil" fans should know going into season two.

"Of course there's many things I want to tell them, and double the amount of things I'm not allowed to tell them! One thing I'm excited that we got to explore this year is Matt Murdoch's vulnerability," said Cox. "The first season, Matt was so preoccupied with Wilson Fisk and everything that was wrong with the world that he really became quite a party pooper, in many ways. He couldn't even for a moment enjoy himself. This season, it's not quite that simple. We get to see him open up to Karen Page, and another character enters into our world, too, this iconic character Elektra. And she brings another element of sexiness and danger and intrigue to his life. To see Matt handle these big bads and fight these very dangerous, angry people, and then struggle almost as equally with the emotions that he's feeling for these two women - all that was a great challenge, and very enjoyable."

Elodie Yung spoke with CBR about the adaptation of Elektra from the comics to television, specifically her look.

"They had to translate it in a more practical way, but still keep this badass killer," said Yung. "Because she is also this -- she's been trained to kill. So we needed this. I think when you look at the costume that [Miller] designed and [the costume] they created for this show, I think you have the same vibe. This strong female character who -- she goes for the throat, she goes for the killing. I think you have that, or at least I do when I wear the costume. I feel like 'Okay, I'm in Elektra killing mode. Don't fuck with me.' So we get that essence, that feeling."

There's also a new featurette focusing on the Punisher.

THE FLASH

Kevin Smith has shared a few photos from his stint behind the camera as the director of a "Flash" episode.

Silent Bob speaks no evil when #Zoom is on the loose! Halfway done with Day 1 on @cwtheflash and I'm in HEAVEN! Masks! Costumes! Heroes! Villains! There is no Crisis on my infinite Earth today! #thecw #theflash #KevinSmith #Vancouver #dccomics #CentralCity A photo posted by Kevin Smith (@thatkevinsmith) on

Thinking of changing out the backwards baseball cap for this stylish piece of head gear. Forget @jayandsilentbob - this is #SilentBob AS Jay (Garrick). Having a blast on @cwtheflash! #KevinSmith #theflash #thecw #earth2 #dccomics A photo posted by Kevin Smith (@thatkevinsmith) on

Greetings from Central City PD and the set of @cwtheflash! The giant bas-relief wall was created by #TylerHarron and features familiar "gods" - like #Superman as Zeus (Jupiter), #Batman as Hades (Pluto), #WonderWoman as Hera (Juno), the Flash as Hermes (Mercury), #GreenArrow as Apollo, #Aquaman as Poseidon (Neptune), and the #GreenLantern as Hephaestus (Vulcan). As cool as it is to see on the show, it's overwhelmingly awesome to appreciate the detail and craftsmanship (and craftwomanship) in person. #theflash #theflashseason2 #theflashcw #dccomics #KevinSmith #runbarryrun #jla A photo posted by Kevin Smith (@thatkevinsmith) on

RIVERDALE

Cole Sprouse has revealed that he's dyed his hair black in preparation for his role as Jughead in the upcoming CW "Archie" series.

Some people liken it to time stopping, but it's really just your eyes becoming louder than all your other senses. A sharp and directional focus, as if glasses were put on a face that never knew it was blind. All that white noise had finally ceased, and my mind was able to distill its attention into a single thing for the very first time. You became that first step outside a noisy bar. All this in a look. Just a break from the noise. Just a break. Look at yourself now that the noise is back. You've grown a lot haven't you kid, but you still hold onto those glasses don't you? SUPERGIRL

During "Supergirl's" presentation during Los Angeles' PaleyFest this past Sunday, the cast and crew discussed what's to come in season two of the show. Executive producer Ali Adler gave a hint about what's to come, saying that there really is no idea to out-there for "Supergirl" to tackle.

"Comet the Superhorse, Streaky the Supercat -- we love them all," said Adler during PaleyFest. "I think that we just hope to continue with this tremendous cast and make episodes for many years to come. We'll exploit every little thing, I promise. We'll get in there and turn it on its head and try to make something. I mean, we've talked about Streaky. So yeah, definitely we'll embrace all the canon."
