THE FLASH

WOLVERINE 3

X-23 has long been rumored to make her first appearance in 20th Century Fox's "Wolverine 3." While her character hasn't been announced for the film, this new casting call may reveal whether she will indeed appear:

20th Century Fox are seeking an 11 - 14 year old girl to play the role of Zoe in a brand new movie!! [ZOE] 11 to 14 year-old girl. Still a child, but a wounded badass, a pound puppy, raised in captivity in a time of battle, without support systems of normal childhood.

She has no family and until now, has never left the compound in which she was born. She has an authentic intensity - her expressions and body language speak volumes, without words. Once released in the outside world, everything is new - every experience and every image a first. This does not mean everything is wonderful or wondrous. Some things she sees (things we might regard as conventional) may scare her or anger her and things we may find interesting may bore her. She has not been instructed in many social conventions - she can eat like an animal. She studies and often mimics people's behavior. She has a high IQ, but is also a temperamental, impulsive and feral creature that can raise genuine mayhem. She is a girl that has never been kissed. Looking for a REAL girl - not made up or done up. Also with genuine edge, not made up or put on. Martial arts or gymnastics experience preferred but not necessary - but actress must be extremely physical and able to improvise scenes without necessarily resorting to speech. Do NOT play it 'cute.

Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart began filming "Wolverine 3" recently, and can be seen in these set photos. Jackman is rocking a graying beard, which further fuels rumors of the "Old Man Logan" storyline.

Opens in 2017

DAREDEVIL & THE DEFENDERS

While Netflix has yet to set a release date for "The Defenders" series or a third season of "Daredevil," Kevin Smith is keen on directing episodes of both. In a recent interview, Smith shared how thrilled he would be to have a shot at directing an episode of one of Marvel's Netflix series.

"Dude, I want to direct 'Daredevil,' man. That'd be wild to be able to do it in real life -- let's co-direct it, that'd be cool, just like we did the book. We could co-direct an episode and then, like, take the passion from the page to the screen. If I can get a piece of that 'Defenders' miniseries -- holy shit, could you imagine, dude? Because then you're working with multiple suits at once, that'd be phenomenal."

DOCTOR STRANGE

Scott Derrickson shared a new set photo on his Twitter this week, revealing Benedict Cumberbatch and Chiwetel Ejifor in costume. Derrickson also teased his appearance in July at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

Will I be at Comic Con this year? Here's a hint... pic.twitter.com/ovawpnsLsj- Scott Derrickson (@scottderrickson) June 10, 2016

"Doctor Strange" actor Scott Adkins said recently that the film will feature some of Derrickson's signature horror style:

"This is going to show that other dimension side. I'm sure Scott Derrickson's going to bring some of his horror element into it as well. It's gonna be a different version of a Marvel comic."

Opens in November

AGENTS OF SHIELD

Chloe Bennet recently shared her thoughts on how Lincoln's death will effect her in season four:

"I think it makes her more ruthless, being so close to what she thought was her own death, and then it happening in one of the worst scenarios she could ever think of, which is the person that she loved doing it for her, I think it changes her in a way where she probably will face life with even more ruthlessness. Also, there's a sense of sadness that was there that I tried to make apparent at the end of the episode."

Returns this fall

BATMAN V SUPERMAN

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is hitting DVD, Blu-ray and digital download in a few weeks and the film's cinematographer has been tweeting his thoughts on the "Ultimate Edition." Originally Larry Fong said that fans who disliked "Batman v Superman" when they saw it in theaters will still not be fans of the "Ultimate Edition." His tune then changed abruptly and now he's saying that he believes "Everyone will love it." The "Ultimate Edition" includes three hours of Zack Snyder's director's cut, which includes new and extended scenes.
