COMIC REEL: "Breaking Bad" Influenced Black Widow's "Civil War" Arc; New "BvS" Behind The Scenes Stills Revealed

Nerdist's set report from "Civil War" includes a bit about Black Widow's role in the film.

"We made some strong choices with Natasha in this movie and it's a tricky arc that she has to play in the film," says director Joe Russo. "You always want to surprise people, you don't want to make choices that are easy. I always said what I loved about 'Breaking Bad' is that Vince Gilligan always wrote himself into the hardest corner. I would watch an episode and go, 'I have no f-king idea how he's going to solve this next week,' and he would solve it. That's compelling narrative, that's compelling storytelling to me. We made a similar choice with her on this film, but it's tricky because you have to monitor constantly throughout the filmmaking to make sure you're getting the subtleties of the arc and what she's doing"

A sneak peek at "Entertainment Tonight's" "Civil War" coverage has aired and made its way to Twitter.

ET spoke with Sebastian Stan about the film. The Winter Soldier actor said that he thinks "it's going to be an epic experience for people. I'm very excited for people to hear and see what side everybody ends up on, 'cause it gets a little heartbreaking."

Robert Downey Jr. spoke about his role in the film, saying that he views it as a kind of "Iron Man 4." "In a way it's 'Cap 3,' but for me it's like my little 'Iron Man 4' and then it's back to the thing we all recognize," he told USA Today. "Everything pulls over to the side of the road when the thunder of an Avengers thing comes through because that's how it is until it changes. If it changes."

Character posters for Team Iron Man have also been released.

You can read a recap of last night's episode, "Bouncing Back," right here on CBR. ABC has also aired a promo for next week's episode, "Inside Man."

Luke Mitchell spoke with CBR about his character Lincoln and the tone of season three.

"Season Three has been a lot of fun because it's really been a lot of stripping back of what little the audience knew about my character that was introduced in Season Two, and the writers have really changed it up for Season Three and we're playing much more in the gray areas; playing with the darkness a little bit. Not to say that my character's a bad guy, just not so much of a golden boy."
