The actor has been promising it for a while, but with the third film in the X-Men's timewarping trilogy now filming, James McAvoy is going bald to bring his portrayal of Charles Xavier in line with the comics. Director Bryan Singer sent out an Instagram of the actor in the barber's chair:

AGENTS OF SHIELD & AGENT CARTER

After both the anchor Marvel Studios drama and its mini series spinoff have earned pickups for next season on ABC, and to celebrate, Marvel released a pair of posters highlighting the tone of each show going into next year:

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

The latest big screen hit is already on its way to winning a second weekend at the U.S. box office, but already the flow of behind-the-scenes info from the film's making has started to arrive online. Marvel Studios visual artist Ryan Meinerding took to his Facebook page to show off some previously unseen "Age of Ultron" concept art focusing on how the Hulk would look in the film:

Meanwhile, over at Business Insider (Via), Vision actor Paul Bettany recalls how the part literally put his struggling career in turnaround almost immediately.

"I'd actually just had a meeting with a producer who had told me I was never going to work again and I stepped out into Hollywood and I sat on the sidewalk with my feet in the gutter and I thought 'f--- me,'" Bettany said. But luckily, moments later a call came from Joss Whedon offering the part of the Avengers resident android. "I said yes. And I sort of looked up to heaven and thought karma's very quick these days ... and flipped the building behind me the finger."

In theaters now.
