Amazon revealed a first look at its upcoming drama Utopia at the series' Comic-Con@Home panel today.

Inspired by the British show of the same name, the eight-episode thriller follows a group of fans of the comic Utopia, who unearth hidden meanings cloaked within the pages of the story and discover that they predict real-life apocalyptic disasters, including a worldwide pandemic. Together, the group must work with the comic's central character, Jessica Hyde, to stop the end of the world. However, not all is as it seems with Jessica.
