If you had already had plans for Saturday morning, you'll probably want to change them -- at least if you're hoping to buy badges for Comic-Con International.

Open online registration will begin shortly before 9 a.m. PT, although the EPIC Registration landing page will be accessible starting at 8 a.m. to allow hopefuls to enter their personal registration code and authorize their device or browser to enter the waiting room.

Those who registered for a Member ID by Feb. 13 cutoff date should receive receive an email containing their personal registration code and a link to the landing page at least 24 hours before the sale kicks off. (The Comic-Con blog suggests to keep an eye on your inbox beginning today.)

The personal registration code was implemented last year to prevent ineligible members from entering the EPIC Registration waiting room and further bog down the process. Organizers also eliminated four-day passes, explaining that the single-day option gives attendees more flexibility, and allows more people to attend the event each day (the badges can be consolidated onsite).

Prices increased again this year, with prices for adult badges for Thursday through Saturday rising from $45 to $50, and Sunday from $30 to $35. More details can be found on Comic-Con's open online registration page.

Comic-Con International will be held July 9-12, with Preview Night on July 8.
