Comic Book Stories Set Between the Panels of Other Comic Book Stories

In Harley Quinn #12 (by Amanda Conner, Jimmy Palmiotti, Chad Hardin and John Timms), Harley Quinn teamed up with Power Girl to take on some bad guys and they get sent through a dimensional warp and then, at the end of the issue, they get briefly sent through another portal...

But in reality, that just sent them on a whole other journey that took place in the six-issue miniseries, Harley Quinn and Power Girl, which was a chance to Conner and Palmiotti to re-visit some of the stories of their previous Power Girl ongoing series...

It was a fun little miniseries.

This one is a bit tricky.

Okay, so in X-Men #125 (by John Byrne, Chris Claremont and Terry Austin), we get a FLASHBACK to a panel involving Jean Grey getting visited by Mastermind in disguise.

Then, Generations: Phoenix and Jean Grey (by Cullen Bunn, R. B. Silva and Adriano Di Benedetto) sees Jean Grey (the time-traveling one) sent to the past to that panel to meet the Phoenix...

That's it for this edition of Drawing Crazy Patterns!

This would be a fun one to re-visit in the future, so feel free to submit other examples of this thing!
