I just want to know what a Baldy Award was.

The Baldy Award was basically the No-Prize equivalent of the Superman line of comics during the 1990s (which at one point grew to FIVE titles a month!), occasionally given out to the best letter they received this month.

The actual award was a postcard "from" Lex Luthor, personally "signed" by Luthor himself...
