In this feature, I share with you three comic book "easter eggs." An easter egg is a joke/visual gag/in-joke that a comic book creator (typically the artist) has hidden in the pages of the comic for readers to find (just like an easter egg). They range from the not-so-obscure to the really obscure. So come check 'em all out and enjoy! Also, click here for an archive of all the easter eggs featured so far! If you want to suggest an easter egg for a future column, e-mail me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com (do not post your suggestion in the comments section!).

Today we take a look at some more Star Wars easter eggs!

We've had a number of Star Wars easter eggs over the years in this feature. Here are the previous editions:

1. Buzz Lightyear and the Beatles Meet Yoda! (Easter eggs from Star Wars Tales)

2. Kirk, Spock, McCoy…and Luke Skywalker?!?! (Easter eggs from various Star Wars comics)

3. May the Force Be With You! Star Wars Cameos! (Cameos of Star Wars characters in other comics)

This time around, we begin with Uncanny X-Men #155 by Chris Claremont, Dave Cockrum and Bob Wiacek (suggested by Jay Shepard from rebelscum.com), as Kitty Pryde uses a Shi'ar clothing gizmo to make an amusing outfit...

Next up, from Strong Guy Reborn #1 by Todd DeZago, Andy Smith and Art Thibert (as suggested by Rollo Tomassi), we see Strong Guy and Lila Cheney escape at the end of the issue in the Millennium Falcon...

Next up, from Simpsons Comics #137 by Chuck Dixon, John Costanza and Phyllis Nixon, we see Homer deal with stress over his weight during his dreams and a certain furry friend of Han Solo's makes an appearance...

Finally, from Sleepwalker #10 by Bob Budiansky, Bret Blevins and Mike Manley, we enter the mind of Rick Sheridan and see how Star Wars (and Superman) had a major impact on Rick deciding to become a superhero...

Okay, that's it for this edition! If YOU have a suggestion for a future installment of Comic Book Easter Eggs, drop me a line at bcronin@comicbookresources.com!
