Come See Me Talk About the Book!

I'm doing a panel tomorrow at the New Rochelle Public Library featuring a group of "new authors."

Here's the press release:

The public library, 1 Library Plaza, is planning the following events:

- The library will mark National Library Week at 3 p.m. April 19 with a panel discussion. "Meet New Rochelle's Newest Authors" will include a discussion and book-signings.

The participating authors, who will have books available for purchase, are: Brian Cronin ("Was Superman a Spy? And Other Comic Book Legends Revealed"); Anthony Murphy ("City of the Huguenots"); Efrem Sigel ("The Disappearance"); Fred Spinowitz, ("Alef-Bet Imagery"); and Steve Tenore ("Graveside Politics"). The free program is open to the public.

- The Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library will hold their monthly book sale on April 17 and 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the west end of the library's lobby. The Friends of the Library bookstore is open every Tuesday from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- Award-winning family music maestro Danna Banana will perform a special concert at the New Rochelle Public Library at 12:20 p.m. April 18. To mark National Library Week, he will present his show, "MAD About Books."
