There's a pretty large list to pick from when it comes to favorite moments in last year's surprise megahit, "Deadpool," and a number of them involved mutants Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead, who provided excellent contrasts not just to each other, but to Mr. Wade Wilson. Knowing this, it doesn't come as too big a surprise that we aren't done with "Sinead O'Connor" and "Silver Balls."

Collider has confirmed that both Stefan Kapicic and Brianna Hildebrand will reprise their roles in the Merc with the Mouth's highly anticipated second outing. "Yeah, they'll be in the sequel," revealed co-writer Rhett Reese before fellow scribe Paul Wernick clarified, "they'll at least make an appearance."

That addendum leaves the possibility that Negasonic and Colossus might only have a brief cameo in the movie; Collider theorizes they might be off-ed suddenly, in keeping with the franchise's uber-irreverent tone. Then again, they were so instantly liked by audiences that it wouldn't be surprising to see the pair have even larger roles in preparation for the X-Force movie that's in the works. With Cable and Domino also confirmed for "Deadpool 2," the latter theory seems just as probable.

After Tim Miller departed over creative differences, David Leitch of "John Wick" fame stepped into the director's chair, with "Deadpool 2" still on track for a January 2, 2018 release.
