WARNING: The following contains major spoilers for Season 3 of Cobra Kai, streaming now on Netflix.

In Cobra Kai's second season, Paul Walter Hauser's Raymond, aka Stingray, was one of the biggest surprises. He joined Johnny's dojo and quickly began idolizing Hawk's transition from nerd to badass, giving it his all to make up for how he was mocked.

However, his toxic traits also made him the worst character. That's likely why he doesn't appear in Cobra Kai Season 3 -- and it might be best if he stays gone.

Raymond became Stingray in a mimicry of Hawk, because he wanted a cool name to go with his improving karate skills. However, he wasn't a student at West Valley High School, so he didn't get a ton of screentime. Then, he took part in the epic brawl in the Cobra Kai Season 2 finale. He was interviewing to be a security guard at the school, but actually intervened in the fight and beat up a bunch of kids.

Obviously, seeing an adult -- especially one with proficiency in martial arts -- beat up a bunch of kids. In Cobra Kai Season 3, Episode 1, "Aftermath," it's revealed Raymond has a restraining order from the school officials. He's forbidden from being within 500 feet of a minor, so he also can't be at the dojo anymore. Usually, he's a fun character with a comedic disposition, but it's creepy seeing an adult live vicariously through teens -- and it's worse to see him use violence against them.

It feels right that the story would move on from Stingray, but he could reappear in Season 4, especially as Kreese and Terry Silver look for a more ruthless squad after Hawk betrayed them.

Meanwhile, Cobra Kai also removes another character in "Aftermath": Aisha (Nichole Brown), who gets cut out of the series off-screen. Her parents transfer her to another school and away from the violence of karate dojos, but she could be brought back. Seeing as a rejuvenated Sam's got Hawk and Miguel back in Daniel's new-look Miyagi-Do, Aisha would fit right in, as she also went from being bullied to being a bully. She's actually a better addition than the sociopathic Stingray, who honestly is out of place and won't be missed.

Cobra Kai stars William Zabka, Ralph Macchio, Courtney Henggeler, Xolo Maridueña, Mary Mouser, Tanner Buchanan, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List and Martin Kove. All three seasons are available to stream now on Netflix.
