Iconic Karate Kid adversaries Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) join forces to take the fight to their common enemy, John Kreese (Martin Kove), in the official trailer for Cobra Kai Season 4.

The trailer sees Johnny, sensei of Eagle Fang Karate, and Daniel, sensei of Miyagi-Do Karate, unite their respective dojos as they prepare their students to take on Cobra Kai at the All Valley Under 18 Karate Tournament -- complete with Johnny's unconventional (and likely illegal) training methods. Sensing a threat, Cobra Kai sensei Kreese calls in the villainous dojo's original founder, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith).

Leading the charge within the Cobra Kai dojo is Kreese and Silver's star pupil Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan), Johnny's estranged son and Daniel's former student -- and he's teaching his fellow Cobra Kai students some of Mr. Miyagi's own lessons.

Speaking of Johnny and Daniel, while the lifelong rivals appear to be co-existing rather well, it seems they can't help but butt heads over what's best for Johnny's longtime student Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña).

Meanwhile, Silver's return drudges up painful memories for Daniel, who seems to be haunted by his brief time as a member of Cobra Kai back in The Karate Kid Part III. "You cannot strike first with this guy," Daniel warns Johnny, referring to Silver. Silver himself taunts Daniel, saying, "You just don't want to admit there's always been a little Cobra Kai in you."

Netflix's official synopsis for Cobra Kai Season 4 further details its plot, reading, "As [Samantha LaRusso (Mary Mouser)] and Miguel try to maintain the dojo alliance and Robby goes all in at Cobra Kai, the fate of the Valley has never been more precarious. What tricks does Kreese have up his sleeve? Can Daniel and Johnny bury their decades-long hatchet to defeat Kreese? Or will Cobra Kai become the face of karate in the valley?"

Cobra Kai Season 4 crane-kicks its way onto Netflix on Dec. 31. The Karate Kid sequel series has already been renewed for Season 5.
