Cobra Kai co-creator Hayden Schlossberg promised fans of the show the upcoming fourth season will feature more montages and longer episodes.

"One thing you don't have to worry about is montages," Schlossberg wrote on Twitter during an impromptu Q&A with fans. He also told another follower, "Yes, this season has longer episodes."

In addition to co-creating the series with Josh Heald and Jon Hurwitz, Schlossberg has served as a writer for the series since Season 1. Schlossberg's comments about the new season come roughly two months after it was revealed Season 4 of Cobra Kai hit Netflix on Dec. 31. The streaming platform also shared a sneak peek from the new season at that time, which showcased the very different teaching styles of frenemies Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) and Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka). It was previously confirmed Season 4 will address the ongoing tension between the two coaches, and will also see the return of Thomas Ian Griffith as Terry Silver, the main antagonist in 1989's The Karate Kid Part III.

The show's cast also recently celebrated the upcoming fourth season by sending a shoutout to Cobra Kai superfan Andrew Garfield. In a clip posted on Twitter, cast members Macchio, Zabka, Jacob Bertrand, Mary Mouser and Peyton List thanked Garfield for watching the show. Bertrand, in particular, thanked the Tick, Tick...Boom! actor for previously describing Eli "Hawk" Moskowitz as his favorite character on the show.

Garfield responded by getting a bit emotional and admitting, "I'm very, very moved and touched by that. Gosh. Life can be OK sometimes. Life can be really nice. That was one of them, the best moments of my life. Oh God, I wish that wasn't true, but it is. Thank you, gosh. I love you guys. God, I love you guys."

While Season 4 has yet to premiere, Hurwitz recently shared that Cobra Kai has already been picked up for a fifth season, and the writers have already started brainstorming what's going to happen next. "We are very deep into our Season 5 planning," the co-creator said at the time. "Several scripts and outlines have been written. And we are definitely writing towards an endgame, which will hopefully be beyond Season 5."

The first three seasons of Cobra Kai are streaming now on Netflix and Season 4 debuts on Dec. 31. You can also catch up on the history of the spinoff series by checking out the original Karate Kid Trilogy, which is getting a limited-edition 4K Ultra HD box set on Dec. 7.
