With Cloak and Dagger recently canceled as the changes at Marvel Studios continue to affect much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, many fans are left guessing what's next for Tyrone and Tandy. The last we saw them they were on a bus heading towards new adventures.

While we know we will see the characters again in the Runaways, we don't know what the future will hold for them after this. With talk that they will become incorporated in the larger MCU, perhaps even on Disney Plus, this could be an exciting time. However, the cancellation means that a number of questions are yet to be answered from the two seasons of the show. Here are 10 questions we'll never get the answers to!

10 Could D'spayre Return?

The end of the season saw the villain D'Spayre, trapped in his own place of torture. He was forced to endure the record that brought him as much pain as he had caused others. The real-world body of D'Spayre had been destroyed as he had become something much more.

The end of the season implies that he has been defeated, but could the trumpet-playing villain return at some point in the future? There was always a chance that Tandy and Tyrone returned to that same world and encountered the wannabe god once again. We'll never know if he could return, though!

9 Will Tyrone Use The Iconic Cape?

With Season 3 never getting made, we won't get to know whether Tyrone uses the iconic cape on a regular basis. Tyrone struggles to use his powers without the use of a dark piece of clothing to channel them. For now, he seems used to only wearing his hoodie.

Numerous times the use of his cape has been teased, though. The cape was introduced as something his brother had been working on before he was killed, but Tyrone has never brought this into his regular costume to become a true superhero. Maybe he will in the Runaways, though.

8 Is Brigid Gone For Good?

The end of the series also saw Mayhem and Brigid finally become one and start working together. There seemed to be an implication, though, that more of Mayhem was in control however and that the rage driven parts of her brain were fuelling her.

While the two working in harmony is probably a good thing, Brigid did say that she would take a step back and allow Mayhem to take the wheel. Does this mean that Brigid is gone for good therefore or is there a way to separate the two again?

7 Is Mayhem Actually Evil?

Speaking of Brigid and Mayhem, is there more to the darker alter ego that we don't know? There was supposed to be more of an evil personality to her before season 2 changed the character a little bit. However, could those evil ways return in some form?

Now that Mayhem is seemingly in control, there's no telling what she could do next. Perhaps her crusade for a safer city brings her to kill people once again, or, worse yet, maybe she decides to control the crime for herself to keep everything in order. We'll never know!

6 What Has Evita Become?

After Evita's Aunt died towards the end of season 2, Evita herself become the new voodoo wielding member of the team. However, what does this actually mean and what has Evita become? It's said that she can no longer live a normal life, but we have no idea what that means.

Supposedly, Evita will have to look after New Orleans now and stand by with her abilities. The series will never be able to show her progression in this field though or be able to show us what she finally becomes. Perhaps she could have been a sorcerer much like Brother Voodoo in Marvel Comics.

5 Are There Consequences For Adina?

Tyrone's mom, Adina, kills the cop that killed her firstborn son. This is a bit of cliffhanger for these characters as it's presumed that Tyrone knows what his mom has done, especially since he was also aware that she was in possession of a firearm.

Perhaps the police would have eventually found out about her terrible deed, or maybe her husband could have worked it out eventually. It could have even been a battle between mother and son, but, instead, we will never know what the consequences are for this murder.

4 What Happened To Liam?

Throughout season 1 and parts of season 2, Tandy had a supporting and criminal boyfriend. The two had a difficult relationship which was troubled especially by the huge changes that were happening in Tandy's life.

Their last encounter saw Tandy try to take the hope away from Liam. This was the final nail in the coffin for the pair and Liam returned just once to steal some money back from her. It's unknown where he went after this and if he'd ever get back together with Tandy.

3 Lia's Redemption?

While Cloak and Dagger mainly focuses on the younger superheroes of New Orleans, that doesn't mean that it's completely devoid of older characters. Lia has had an interesting path, from being manipulated by D'Spayre to actually working for him.

She is eventually put into police custody. The last we see of her she is picking up a poster for another missing girl. There are two suggestions here. First, there is someone else stealing these young women. Secondly, is Lia looking for redemption by finding these missing persons? We'll never know.

2 Did Mina Discover Anything?

Mina was less heavily featured in the second season of Cloak and Dagger, but she was shown to be working on some sort of research relating to the dark energy that she was infected with and that controls Tandy and Tyrone's powers.

We see her looking at Mayhem, trying to understand how the energy has affected her. We never find out what it is she's looking for or if she has a breakthrough at all. It's likely this was all leading to something but we won't know what that was.

1 What's Next For Cloak & Dagger?

We have already said that the duo will be returning in the Runaways but then what? We never have a season 3 to watch, so we won't be able to tell what's actually next for Cloak and Dagger. There's a number of other questions we have about their future.

Will they return to New Orleans? Will they look for others like them to continue teaming up with? Perhaps they are looking for more answers about their abilities, or maybe they are ready to fully embrace the superhero life. Who knows what Tandy and Tyrone would be doing next!
