Traditional comic book villains aren't the only thing in store for the future of Marvel's Cloak & Dagger on Freeform; a promo for tonight's new episode features Aubrey Joseph's Tyrone, aka Cloak, sporting some incredibly comic-book-accurate attire.

The robe we see Tyrone wearing is reminiscent of the one his brother Billy was working on before he was killed. It's a traditional look and one that's a part of African American culture in New Orleans, where the series takes place.

Tyrone and Tandy have yet to fully embrace their identities as superheroes representing the balance of light and darkness. However, the parallels and contrasts in their lives have been emphasized heavily in visual metaphor, as well as in their individual development. Showrunner Joe Pokaski noted that this was intentional, and pointed to the example in the sixth episode, in which both characters meet someone who symbolized who they could have become if not for their pasts.

Cloak & Dagger airs on Freeform, Thursdays at 8 pm ET/PT, and stars Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as well as Andrea Roth, Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, Carl Lundstedt, James Saito, and J.D. Evermore.
