Fans of the incredibly popular "Batman: Arkham" series of video games now have plenty of reason to return to the game's mean streets. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced the release of "Batman: Return to Arkham" -- a game bundle pairing "Batman: Arkham Asylum" and "Batman: Arkham City" together. And these aren't the games as players remember them, either; each one has been remastered by Virtuos and made available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. And that goes for all the downloadable content from each game, too.

The "Return to Arkham" remastered edition features improved graphics and updated models, environments, lighting, effects and shaders "Arkham Asylum" kicked off the highly popular series of games in 2009, with the follow-up "Arkham City" arriving in 2011. Both games were developed by Rocksteady Studios.

The remastered "Batman: Return to Arkham" experience is available in North America now. "Return to Arkham" retails for $49.99. The "Return to Arkham" package will be available in Australia and New Zealand on October 19 and will expand to other countries on October 21.

Originally developed by Rocksteady Studios and released in 2009 to a 92 Metacritic score, Batman: Arkham Asylum is where it all started.
