Claremont & Nauck "Bamf!" into Marvel NOW!

It just wouldn't be a weekday without one of Marvel Comics' one-word All-New Marvel NOW! teasers -- and the publisher didn't disappoint. Chris Claremont and Todd Nauck are on board for a new series involving the signature sound of Nightcrawler's teleportation: Bamf!

Claremont's longtime association with the X-Men make an X-Universe title a likely subject, and a focus on Nightcrawler seems like the best bet -- especially given his re-appearance in Jason Aaron and Ed McGuinness' "Amazing X-Men," but there are a few other options. The possibility certainly exists that Azazel fans will finally get that ongoing series they've always hoped for -- or that the Bamfs from "Wolverine and the X-Men" will get their day in the spotlight. But the overwhelming odds favor a Nightcrawler-centric story over all others.

It's likely more will be revealed when Marvel releases its April 2014 solicitations later this month.
