A sequel is coming for the buddy action movie The Hitman's Bodyguard and one of Captain America's deadliest villains just joined the fun. Frank Grillo, the actor who portrayed Crossbones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has signed on for a role in the movie.

Grillo will portray an Interpol agent who recruits Bryce (Ryan Reynolds), Kincaid (Samuel L. Jackson) and Sonia (Salma Hayek) to help stop a cyber attack.

Grillo appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Brock Rumlow, the villain who later became Crossbones. Jackson was also in the film as Nick Fury. Grillo went on to appear in Captain America: Civil War and is listed as a cast member in the upcoming Avengers: Endgame.

The first Hitman's Bodyguard movie ended with Bryce and Kincaid settling old differences and working together to save the world. It sounds like the hitman (Kincaid) and his bodyguard (Bryce) will need to step up to the plate again.

Reynolds, Jackson and Hayek all starred in the first movie and all return for the sequel. Also coming back is director Patrick Hughes and production is scheduled to launch in March.

As for Grillo, this is just one of a huge number of movies for the busy actor. He also is set to star in the Netflix movie Point Blank with another Avengers actor, Anthony Mackie (Falcon).
