It's rare that a release date change for a comic book event series means that an issue will come out earlier rather than later, but that's the case with Marvel's "Civil War II" #7. Marvel announced Wednesday that Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez's "Civil War II" #7 has moved its release date to Nov. 23, from its previous release date of Nov. 30.
As the press release reads, "Even Ulysses couldn’t have predicted this!"
Marvel's event comics are no stranger to release date changes. The first "Civil War" famously was delayed, starting a daisy chain of other books needing to be pushed back to avoid spoilers. Last years super-mega-epic "Secret Wars" event added an issue to the end of the story, only to have that issue pushed back. Even "Civil War II" itself has added an issue, going from seven to eight, and pushed back its grand finale to December.
Now, fans of the event series face another release date change -- but this time, the issue will be coming out a week early.
So it looks like Tony Stark is right, the future really can be changed. "Civil War II #7" will be on sale Nov. 23rd. Here's a look at the covers to the issue.
