The nominees for this year's Teen Choice Awards have been announced, revealing plenty of recognition for comic book-based movies and television.

Scoring the most nominations are "Captain America: Civil War" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" -- each nominated four times -- while Fox's "Deadpool" walked away with three nominations. Also included in the nominations is "Fantastic Four", which was solely nominated for "Choice Movie: Sci-fi/Fantasy."

On the TV side, the CW scored several nominations for "Arrow" (2), "The Flash" (3) and "iZombie" (1). FOX's "Gotham" landed two nominations for the series overall, and lead actor Ben McKenzie.
