Chucky star Jennifer Tilly recently shared a photo from the set of Season 2 that essentially serves as an altar to the actor's career.

Tilly uploaded the behind-the-scenes snap, which shows the actor standing in a purple room surrounded by memorabilia from throughout her career, on Twitter. These mementos include a poster for neo-noir cult classic Bound as well as several awards Tilly has won over the years. The image is accompanied by a caption confirming that the set is a stand-in for Tilly's own bedroom, which she confirmed in the comments was drawn more from the set designer's imagination than from real life.

Tilly first appeared in 1998's Bride of Chucky, the fourth film in the Child's Play franchise. She portrays Tiffany Valentine, the deranged lover of evil living doll Chucky. Over the course of the next three movies in the series, Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky and Cult of Chucky, Tiffany first transfers her soul into a doll before later possessing the body of a fictionalized version of Tilly herself. She now exists in both human and doll form, a development that carried over when Tiffany returned in Chucky Season 1.

Tiffany Continues To Be Double Trouble In Chucky

Tiffany makes the most of her unique dual existence in the Chucky Season 1 finale, "An Affair to Dismember," as it allows her to kidnap Nica Pierce and hold Andy Barclay at gunpoint. It's still not enough to successfully realize the plan she and Chucky devised to distribute possessed dolls to children's hospitals throughout the country, however. When fans last see Tiffany, she's gone into hiding with Nica, whose limbs she has severed ostensibly to protect her in case Nica is possessed by Chucky once more.

This is one of several plot threads Chucky Season 2 is expected to pick up on, now that the horror series is officially renewed. NBCUniversal announced the second season in November 2021, along with a new promo image and short teaser trailer. Season 2 got the green light before the final episode of Season 1 had even aired, which NBCUniversal attributed to the show's strong viewership figures since it premiered.

More recently, Child's Play creator and Chucky executive producer Don Mancini circulated the Chucky Season 2 logo on Twitter, further hyping the show's impending return. The image featured a glowing, all-red treatment of the Season 1 logo overlaid on top of the number two, with Chucky's likeness partially visible in the background.

Chucky Season 1 is currently streaming on Peacock. Season 2 is set to air sometime in 2022.
