A new, full-length trailer for Chucky strongly suggests that the upcoming Syfy/USA series will be even more disturbing than fans of the Child's Play franchise were expecting.

Revealed by series creator/executive producer Don Mancini during the Legend of Chucky panel at Comic-Con@Home, the new Chucky trailer expands on some of the ideas established in the previously released teaser. It follows Jake Webber (Zackary Arthur) as he buys the infamous killer doll at a yard sale. We see Jake slowly begin to unravel as Chucky stars to run amok.

In addition to a brand-new cast of characters including Arthur as Jake, Teo Briones as Junior Webber, Alyvia Alyn Lind as Lexy Taylor and Björgvin Arnarson as Devon Lopez, among others, Syfy and USA's Chucky will see a number of cast members from the Child's Play franchise's past reprising their roles. The show will feature the return of Alex Vincent as Andy Barclay, Christine Elise McCarthy as Kyle, Fiona Dourif as Nica Pierce, Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany Valentine and, of course, Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky.

Chucky is slated to premiere Tuesday, Oct. 12 on USA and Syfy. The series ignores the 2019 Child's Play reboot, instead serving as a follow-up to the 2017 film Cult of Chucky.
