The full cast for SyFy's upcoming Chucky series was recently revealed, as well as their roles. The recent news also confirmed the return of a horror icon from the Child's Play franchise: Tiffany Valentine, the murderous bride of Chucky.

Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind and Björgvin Arnarson have been cast as the series' regulars and teen leads. Additionally, actor Jennifer Tilly, who became a horror icon after appearing in 1998's Bride of Chucky, will be reprising her role as Tiffany Valentine for USA Network and SyFy's Chucky. Devon Sawa is also attached, though details pertaining to his role have not yet been revealed.

Arthur plays Jake Webber, a loner struggling to find his place in the world after the death of his mother; Briones is set to play Junior Webber, Jake's jock cousin; Lind plays Lexy Taylor, Junior's girlfriend and Jake's bully; Arnarson plays Devon Lopez, a true-crime lover intent on finding the truth behind Hackensack's mysterious tragedies. Child's Play creator Don Mancini is attached to the series as showrunner.

Tilly previously teased her return to the role in an interview last year, stating, "I'm so excited... Chucky is very near and dear to my heart. All over the world, everywhere I go, I step off a plane to a country I didn’t even know existed, and they know one word, and that word is 'Chucky,' and they want a hug." The number of episodes Tilly or Valentine will appear in has not yet been revealed.

Filming for the series was originally set to begin in summer 2020, but was ultimately delayed due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The synopsis for the series can be found below:

In the new CHUCKY television series, after a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town's hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky's past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll's untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.

Created and directed by Don Mancini, Chucky stars Brad Dourif. The series premieres on Syfy and USA Network in 2021.
