A new trailer for the Discovery+ show Expedition Back to the Future has been released.

The trailer features Josh Gates, host of the Discovery Channel's Expedition Unknown, searching for the original DeLorean from Back to the Future. Gates wants to donate the DeLorean to the Michael J. Fox Foundation, which Fox founded in 2000 to combat Parkinson's disease. To help with his quest, he enlists the help of Christopher Lloyd -- who played Doc Brown in the Back to the Future trilogy. However, they soon learn that there was more than one DeLorean made for the film trilogy, which takes them on a road trip across America. Putting a spin on one of Doc Brown's catchphrases, Lloyd admits, "We definitely need roads."

Expedition Back to the Future will feature appearances from Back to the Future fans and car collectors, as well as cast members from the Back to the Future trilogy. Cast members slated to appear on the show include Fox himself and Lea Thompson, as well as Back to the Future screenwriter Bob Gale. James Tolkan, who portrayed no nonsense Principal Strickland in the trilogy, appears in the trailer as a security guard stopping Gates and Lloyd.

Expedition Back to the Future will be available to stream on Discovery+ starting March 15.
