Christoph Waltz might have become one of Quentin Tarantino's go-to guys, but there's another elite Hollywood camp he's looking to get into.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Waltz is in talks to play one of the few human roles in the upcoming sequel to 2011's The Muppets. The film is reportedly set in Europe, with Waltz looking to play an Interpol inspector.

Disney brought back the Muppets just last year, with James Bobin directing from a script written by Jason Segel and Nicholas Stoller. Segal starred along with Amy Adams and a small army of guest stars.

Stoller and Bobin are returning to pen the sequel script, but Segel has no plans to return. Stoller has said the follow-up will be a caper story in the vein of The Muppets Take Manhattan and The Great Muppet Caper. The still-untitled movie is set to debut in 2013.
