Less than two weeks after screenwriter Aaron Sorkin confirmed Christian Bale's involvement in Steve Jobs, word now surfaces that the Oscar-winning actor has withdrawn from director Danny Boyle's biopic.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources contend that, "after much deliberation and conflicting feelings," Bale concluded he wasn't right for the role of the late Apple CEO.

Seth Rogen is reportedly in discussions to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, while Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting) is in Los Angeles to meet with actors about other roles.

Leonardo DiCaprio was previously in talks to play Jobs for the Sony Pictures film, based on Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography. David Fincher at one point was in the running to direct, with Bale rumored to star even at that point.
