Christian Bale will play the late Apple CEO in Danny Boyle's upcoming biopic Jobs, screenwriter Aaron Sorkin confirmed today.
“He has more words to say in this movie than most people have in three movies combined,” Sorkin, famed for his dense, fast-paced dialogue, told Bloomberg TV. “There isn’t a scene or a frame that he’s not in. So it’s an extremely difficult part, and he is gonna crush it.”
Leonardo DiCaprio was previously in talks for the Sony Pictures film, based on Walter Isaacson’s 2011 biography Steve Jobs. David Fincher at one point was in the running to direct, with Bale as his rumored choice to star.
