The premiere of the historical epic Outlaw King on Netflix is just over two weeks away and the streaming service has released a new trailer and poster for their latest original film.

Recounting the true story of Scottish warrior Robert the Bruce who led his countrymen in the First War of Scottish Independence against England in the early 14th century, Pine's historical figure commanded a rabble of Scots against a numerically and technologically superior English military.

"You can fight for God, for country, for family, so long as you fight!" declares Robert as his army faces overwhelming odds on the battlefield.

A new poster showcasing the upcoming film's main cast of characters has also been released by Netflix with the Scottish historical figures preparing for war. The film reteams Pine with David MacKenzie who previously worked with Pine on 2016's acclaimed crime drama Hell or High Water.
